Big News!!
Dear Friends and Partners,
We are George and Stacy Weber, currently serving in Bangkok, Thailand. For the past 20 years, we’ve called this city our home, raising our family, investing in young lives, and teaching at the International Community School. George has taught High School Physical Education and coached the Varsity Boys Soccer team, while Stacy has homeschooled our son, served faithfully in our church’s Sunday school ministry, and more recently, begun pursuing her master's in clinical counseling.
But now, after two decades of fruitful ministry, God is calling us into a new season—and we’d love to invite you to be part of it.
Over the years, George has mentored countless young men through sports, while navigating the richness of cross-cultural relationships. Stacy has counseled and taught children from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and developed a deepening passion for serving others through counseling. Our journey began with a shared call to missions, and it’s always been our desire to use the gifts God has given us—through sports, teaching, and counseling—to reach others with the hope of the gospel.
In recent months, God has made it clear that our time at ICS is coming to a close. George’s longtime friend and the leader of Live Global Sports has invited us to join a team committed to a bold mission: to support national partners around the world in launching and growing gospel-centered sports ministries—and to care for missionaries and their families, especially in times of transition or burnout.
Starting in 2026, George will serve as Sports Coordinator with Live Global Sports. In this role, he’ll connect national leaders, churches, and universities—helping build sports ministries that are locally rooted and globally supported. We believe in a “Barnabas” approach: coming alongside others, empowering them to thrive, and stepping back as they flourish in their own context. Stacy will likely serve in a counseling capacity—supporting missionaries, teenagers navigating cross-cultural challenges, and families in transition.
What excites us most is doing this together. While our roles will be distinct, they are equally vital—and we see God’s hand in weaving them into a shared calling. We’re also looking forward to establishing a ministry presence among international and MK college students near Cedarville University and other local campuses, as we relocate to Xenia, Ohio in 2026. Living near George’s aging parents will also allow us to care for them in a meaningful way during this new season.
But this step requires faith. For the first time in over 20 years, we are stepping away from full-time employment to raise financial support. We are trusting that the God who called us will also provide through His people.
